The Portuguese School of Equestrian Art, based in the gardens of the National Palace of Queluz, has the mission of conserving and promoting the Alter-Real iron Lusitano horse and maintaining the Portuguese tradition of the High School through the selection, training and exhibition of Purebred Lusitano horses from the Alter Stud Farm. A unique equestrian cultural heritage in the world.
Real Picadeiro arose from the dream and passion for Lusitano horses, which is so present in Portuguese culture.
