Picadeiro Quinta da Horta

Picadeiro Quinta da Horta is an equestrian center recognized by the APSL and the Portuguese Equestrian Federation, located on the south bank of the River Tagus - Alcochete - 15 minutes from Lisbon International Airport.

The Quinta da Horta Riding Center has a high quality structure, with capacity to accommodate xx horses in boxes, with the support of an indoor arena, an outdoor arena and a panoramic restaurant. The Quinta da Horta Riding Center also benefits from a privileged geographical setting, which allows equestrian practice in alternative countryside and beach environments.

Offering a wide range of equestrian options, the Quinta da Horta riding arena is under the direction and technical management of Gilberto Filipe, a professional alternative rider with vast experience and a track record of qualifications in teaching and showing Lusitano horses, national and international competition, including the title of European Team Working Equitation Champion in 2016.

With the aim of helping to raise the level of national riding to the highest level and contributing to the enhancement of the Lusitano horse, the Quinta da Horta riding arena has a range of facilities through which it aims to promote rigorous horse training and quality equestrian practice:
